Vivian Eckstein lives and works in Berlin, Germany. She explores the intricate relationship between identity, culture, and human experience through her multifaceted artistic practice, characterized by a fusion of figurative painting, installation and wearable art.

Her multidimensional works reflect on the transformative power of art and travel and critically examine societal roles and the representation of the female body, through mythology, storytelling, surrealism, mysticism and figuration. References to mythology, literature and feminist history are woven into the paintings, while she gives the depicted figures further space to unfold through her wearable objects, collages and installations.
